Unemployment Bias Can Lead To Missed Opportunities

The U.S. recession is not only associated with mass layoffs and a high unemployment rate, but recruiters and HR departments have been refusing to hire the long-term unemployed. It’s a paradox that has frustrated job seekers, riled up legislators, and is severely impeding the recovery of a struggling market.
